Best Oil Spray Bottle (I’ve used this one for years.)

Glass oil spray bottle I love using—it’s perfect for controlling how much oil you use, and it works great with peanut oil, olive oil, or whatever you prefer. Save money and skip the prepackaged aerosol cans.
I recently picked up this oil spray bottle and I have to say, it’s become one of my kitchen essentials. I bought two different types, but this one, in particular, is my favorite.
This is not canning specific but I posted this review on my youtube channel and many people have liked it. I hope you do too. :).

Why I Like This Oil Sprayer
- Glass Bottle: First off, I’m a big fan of glass over plastic when it comes to storing oils. It’s just one of those things that makes me feel better about what I’m using in the kitchen.
- Long Hose: The hose inside reaches all the way down to the bottom, so you can get every last drop of oil. No waste, which is always a win. You can tilt it at an angle, and the hose still reaches the very bottom.
- Plastic Top: While the top part is plastic, it’s still well-made and sprays the oil in a nice, even mist. I’ve used other spray bottles where the spray isn’t consistent, but this one works just right.
How I Use It
I keep olive oil in this bottle (and peanut oil in the other one) The sprayer makes it easy to control how much oil you’re using. I don’t have to worry about overdoing it, which is great for everything from salads to frying. For example, I’ll often spray a light mist over fried potatoes. If I think they need a little more, I can always spray more on top. It’s simple and saves money, too.
Why I don’t buy
Instead of buying those pre-packaged aerosol oil sprays, which can be more expensive and not as great for you, using a spray bottle this is more health friendly and cost-effective solution. I highly recommend it.
Those aerosol bottles are convenient but so wasteful. Have you looked at the cans to see how much oil is actually in the can? Very little. Spray bottles like this keep the convenience and eliminate some of the negatives.
Update: After Using It for a Couple of Years
I’ve been using this oil sprayer for a couple of years now, and it still sits in the cupboard right next to my stove so it’s always handy to grab while I’m cooking. That’s probably one of the best signs that a kitchen gadget has earned its place—it gets used often enough that it stays within easy reach.
One thing I’ve really appreciated is that it doesn’t clog. That’s a common complaint with some oil sprayers, but I haven’t had that issue with this one, even after regular use.
Earlier, I mentioned that I own another style of oil sprayer as well. After using both for a long time, there are a few reasons this one continues to be my favorite. The wider opening makes a bigger difference than you might think. It’s easier to fill without making a mess, and it’s much easier to clean. A bottle brush fits right down into the opening, so I can thoroughly wash the inside when needed.
The other sprayer also has a narrow base and tends to be unstable. It regularly gets knocked over on my counter, which can be frustrating. I’ve never had that problem with this one. It sits securely and feels more practical for everyday use.
After using both for several years, I can confidently repeat what I said earlier: this one is my favorite. In fact, if you’re considering buying two sprayers for different oils, I’d skip the other style altogether and just get two of these. They’re easier to fill, easier to clean, more stable, and have simply worked better for me over the long haul.

This oil spray bottle will quickly become your go-to. I’m glad I made the switch, and I think you might appreciate it too.

Just wondering – how has this spray held up? Is it still working well?
It has held up well. I still use it daily. No issues.
I’m kind of curious about how long yoy have had this sprayer?
Gosh, I’m not sure. A year or two? It’s held up well.
