Process tomatoes into a sauce. You can do this using a food mill or blender or just blanch to remove peels before cooking down the tomatoes into a sauce.
If desired, strain off excess liquid or reduce by cooking for a thicker sauce. (Optional.)
Transfer finished tomato sauce into freezer containers and freeze.

Container Options Include:Freezer Bags – my preference! Rigid freezer containers – plastic with secure fitting lids Glass jars – not really recommended… but possible. Using straight-sided, wide-mouth jars will have a lower risk of breaking.
