Fruit Leather Recipe
This fruit leather recipe isn’t hard to make, but my family loves eating it…and I love knowing that we’re avoiding excess sugars and dyes from store-bought fruit rollups!

Ingredients
2
cups
Fruit
Liquid
if needed
1/4-1/2
cup
Sugar
or honey, but optional
2
teaspoons
Lemon Juice
or 1/8 teaspoon ascorbic acid
Instructions
Puree fruit, adding more liquid if needed.
Add honey/sugar and lemon juice if desired.
Spread an even layer of puree on dehydrator trays lined with dehydrator sheets.
Dehydrate at 130-140 degrees F until leathery (~6-8 hours).
Peel off dehydrator sheets and roll using parchment paper.
Store in an airtight container. (Freeze for long-term storage.)
