Peach Slushy

A peach slushy can't be beat on a hot summer day.

Smooth and cold, it makes a cooling and refreshing work break snack for my boys. Super easy too.

You'll need a blender that can chop ice. My Krupps blender does a good job.

Home canned peaches and ice.

Can't get any easier than that!

How to make a homemade peach slushy.

Fill your blender about 2/3 full with ice cubes. Pulse blades until ice is chopped up.

Add about half a quart of peaches. Do NOT pour in all the juice. Add just enough juice to have enough liquid to blend.

You will probably need to turn your blender off and push the ingredients down into the blades.

Be sure the blender is OFF!

Blend until smooth and frosty. Add juice as needed.
